Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept car

The Bentley EXP 10 is two seat coupe smaller than the existing Bentley Continental GT. It is fitted with a V6 but the production version will be fitted with the 500 bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from the Continental GT. The expected price of the model is £120,000

The base engine is a 5.2-liter 540-hp V-10; the V10 Plus makes 610 hp. All-wheel drive is standard, as is a seven-speed automatic. The interior features a 12.3-inch configurable display; there is also 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. $117,150

3902 cc displacement for the new 90-degree V-8, which is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The new engine makes 661 horsepower at 8000 rpm. Torque is 561 lb-ft at 3000 rpm.

The Aventador LP 700–4 uses Lamborghini's new 700 PS (510 kW; 690 bhp) 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine.

The Vulcan runs on a 7L V12 engine mounted on an aluminium alloy chassis and carbon fibre body delivering 800 brake horsepower (600 kW). It is fitted with carbon ceramic brakes, magnesium torque tube with a carbon fibre propeller shaft, limited-slip differential, Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox and has a curb weight of 1350 kg.

WestJet (TSX: WJA) today announced its fourth quarter and year-end results for 2015, with record full-year net earnings of $367.5 million, or $2.92 per diluted share. This compares with the adjusted net earnings1 of $317.2 million, or $2.46 per diluted share reported in the full-year 2014, up 16 per cent and 19 per cent, respectively. For the fourth quarter, the airline reported diluted earnings per share of $0.51, down 27 per cent from $0.70 reported last year. These fourth quarter 2015 results include a pre-tax loss on foreign exchange of $10.1 million.

This represents WestJet's 43rd consecutive quarter of profitability and based on the trailing twelve months, the airline achieved a return on invested capital of 15.3 per cent, compared with the 16.1 per cent reported in the previous quarter, and within WestJet's target range of 13 to 16 per cent.

2017 Ford GT

At the 2015 North American Auto Show Ford pulled the curtain off of the all-new 2017 Ford GT. With a super-light carbon fiber and aluminum construction, a 600-plus horsepower, EcoBoost V-6 and a race-ready cockpit, the latest Ford GT is hands down the best supercar in the history of the Blue Oval brand. The 2017 Ford GT was conceived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company’s legendary victory at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race, in which three Ford GT40 race cars swept first, second and third place.

It had to be fast tracked from concept to production, with testing and development compressed into the next 18 months in order to go on sale by the end of next year

Power will be sent to the rear wheels courtesy of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Said force is transmitted to the rear wheels with 20-inch alloy wheels wearing specially designed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

The all-new GT starts production in 2016.

Ford has taken a page out of Ferrari’s book, and given the GT an F1-inspired steering wheel with all the needed controls for car function mounted to it. This opens up the steering column and gives uncluttered access to the shift paddles used to control the ’GTs transmission.

The GT should easily break the four-second barrier in the 60-mph sprint, and top speed should be in the 200-mph range. Ford indicated it would be priced competitively with the Lamborghini Aventador – which carries a base sticker price approaching $400,000

Poodle from Hell found

Scientists have unearthed a spectacularly preserved, nearly complete fossil in northeastern China of a feathered dinosaur with wings like those of a bird, although they doubt the strange creature could fly. The researchers said the fast-running meat-eater was about 6 feet (1.8 meters) long and covered with simple hair-like feathers over much of its body, with large, quill-like feathers on its wings and long tail. Finding the dinosaur raises questions about why wings evolved in the first place.

The largest-known dinosaur with wings, it lived about 125 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period. University of Edinburgh paleontologist Steve Brusatte dubbed the dinosaur, named Zhenyuanlong suni, a "fluffy feathered poodle from hell." Birds evolved from small feathered dinosaurs. The oldest-known bird, crow-sized Archaeopteryx, lived about 150 million years ago.
