2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S

The numbers for the 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S speak for themselves. Zero to 60mph in 2.9 seconds to a top speed of 205 mph. 572bhp with 553lb ft of torque, with the twin-turbo 3.8-litre flat six connected to a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, taking power to all four wheels.

To reduce the effect of turbocharger lag and provide what Porsche describes as sharper throttle response, the new 911 Turbo S features a so-called dynamic boost function. It maintains the boost pressure, with the throttle valve remaining open and power interrupted by cutting the fuel injection on a trailing throttle.

The 911 Turbo S starts at £145,773 for the coupe, rising to £154,614 for the cabriolet.

The Mercedes-AMG GT S is a 2-door, 2-seat sports car produced by Mercedes-AMG. It was developed entirely in-house by the auto maker. The 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S is powered by a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V-8 producing 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.

Sleek, low and lean, it looks fast and it is fast — zero to 60 in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 193 miles per hour.

The German automaker confirmed that the new Mercedes-AMG GT S will retail for $129,900. This pricing places the AMG GT S on par with the Porsche 911 GT3, and $20k less than the more powerful 911 Turbo. It also comes closer to the $115,900 that Audi charges for an R8 with a V8.

Zine El Abidine Ben Ali was the second President of Tunisia from 1987 to 2011. Ben Ali assumed power on 7 November 1987 in a bloodless coup d'état that ousted President Habib Bourguiba. On 14 January 2011, following a month of protests against his rule, he was forced to flee to Saudi Arabia along with his wife Leïla Ben Ali. The interim Tunisian government charged him for money laundering and drugs trafficking. A Tunisian court sentenced Ben Ali and his wife in absentia to 35 years in prison on charges of theft.

Tunisia is the northernmost country in Africa and is the smallest country in the Maghreb region of North Africa. It is bordered by Algeria to the west, Libya to the southeast and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east.

Among the highlights of the sale were the 39 cars, which included a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 460, a Bentley Continental sports car, an armoured Cadillac and a Maybach 62.
