Air Canada - AC.t is the flag carrier and largest airline in Canada. The airline, founded in 1936, provides scheduled and charter air transport for over 38 million passengers annually and provides direct passenger service to more than 190 destinations on five continents.

It is the world's ninth-largest passenger airline by number of destinations. Air Canada had passenger revenues of $13.8 billion in 2015.

"Air Canada announced today it will launch four new seasonal Air Canada rouge services between Montreal-Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Montreal-San José, Costa Rica; Toronto Palm Springs, California; and Toronto-Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The non-stop flights will give Canadian travelers more competitively-priced options when flying to sun destinations beginning winter 2016-2017.

 Seats on these four new routes are now available for purchase at aircanada.com and through travel agents.
"Air Canada is solidifying its position in the Canadian leisure market by offering more flights to more sun destinations during the 2016-2017 winter season.  We are delighted to launch seasonal Air Canada rouge non-stop flights to such popular vacation destinations as Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and San José, Costa Rica from Montreal as well as Palm Springs, California and Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago from Toronto. Flights are timed to optimize connectivity for travelers from all across Quebec and Eastern Canada looking to escape the Canadian winter," said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines at Air Canada. "All Air Canada rouge flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access, priority boarding and other benefits."
